How to apply OSS note correction....

Hi gurus,

I had a problem in a SAP program RSCRMBAPI as per the guidence of our SDN gurus

i got the OSS note it has some suggestions of Code change which will solve the problem

can some one kindly tell me how to do these changes and where to do these changes

like do i have to do them in Development and then do the usual transport if yes

how shall i start is their any particular method of applying oss notes.

hi Neel,

you can use transaction SNOTE, with your server connected to SAP, normaly this is basis job.

Hi A.H.P,

So you mean to say that even to add some code in the program, we have to ask the basis guys to do it.

am i right...beocz i have gone thru the note you have sent regarding the RSCRMBAPI about cell limitations so i want these changes to be done so i can use it without problem.

hi Neel,

it's better done with SNOTE,

SNOTE will automatically modify the program,

no need manual job.

Hi,

For any changes to any SAP program you should have access key. You can get the access key against your installation no. from service.sap.com

But it is recommended that you first look for any relevant note no. or raise oss note before making changes.
