For Web Dynpro Java applications, you will need a Java application server .

For webdynpro abap we need sap application server.

both funtions r same.. but we cannot migrate.. so

it is better to create a new webdypro abap application with already existing features ( what u made in wd java)..

Hi,

WDJ and WDA both are different platforms and if you any applications running in the Web Dynpro Java, and the same application you want to run or migrate it to Web Dynpro ABAP you need to start from scrach,

i mean to say you need to develop the same application once again in webdynpro Abap, there is no migration as such for that you need be a webdynpro abap developer also

Thanks,

Sreeni.

Its as simple and as difficult as that.....As suggested by the experts, you need to rewrite the applications in WD Abap.

Good Luck!!!

Hi,

There is no document available for this requirement.

What do you mean by migration?

- Wedynpro java is one platform to develop UI screens using java and ABAP is another platform to develop

the screens using ABAP Language. You can't migrate the application from one lang to other.

What you can do is to create a new application uisng WD ABAP and need to write abap lang for each method.

- WD java uses jco to excute BAPI s which is in backend(If you use rfc model)

-NO need of creating JCO in WD abap as all rfc will be written in same box.
