Hi All

i am new to bibw and learning it now.

my question is how  do we know that a particular data source is a  LO data source?

how do we differentiate LIS data sources and LO data sources by seeing it?

2LIS_03_S195 is this a lis or LO data source? i activated it in RSA5 and can see in RSA6  and LBW1 but cant see in LEBW  that means it is not LO data source?

Thanks in advance.

Good you started from ECC side and main module LO Also content leaders replied first.

  • 2LIS_03_S195 - it belongs to LIS.
  • LO data sources are flexible to use and they are new designed by splitting LIS structures.
  • Be familiar with LO related extraction since most part of business using it than LIS.

Lo extraction documents available here http://scn.sap.com/people/p.renjithkumar/content

Hi Sonali,

Welcome SCN World.

Try to loginto ECC system and explore all data source at Tx - LBWE. What ever data source you see there those are LO Data source. if you see any data source name including *SXXX* it will be LIS data source. As we know LIS  was outdated and replaced by LO.

SXXX  - XXX Standards for 3 digit number, SAP standard  data sources :001 to 499, 500 to 999 - custom data sources)

Thanks

Hi,

If you go to LBWE you will get the list of all LO datasources.

Mostly it will be 2LIS_11_VAHDR so in the last it will end with char and not numbers.

2LIS_03_S195--this is LIS datasource--Anything n the last Prefix with S and followed by numbers should be LIS datasource.

Hope this gives an idea.

Regards,

AL
