How do I see workflow log for sub workflows?

We just upgraded to ERP2005 and I am having trouble with the workflow log. I have workflows that contain subworkflows. When I try to see the log for a subworkflow I only see the log for the primary workflow. This happens even when I directly select the subworkflow. Could someone tell me how to see the subworkflow log? Also, is it possible to set a way to show me the old way the log used to look in 4.7.

Hi,

I hope the option "In All workflow logs" is selected for "Graphical Presentation" in the details tab of the activity calling the sub workflow.

I am still unable to get into the log of the subworkflow but regenerating the subworkflow like the note suggested fixed the problem that I was researching.

Hi Nick,

I had the exact same problem and I came across this thread. With some help from Akshay's reply and my own research I found how you can see the log of sub workflow. See the screenshots below:

Open the log by clicking the Log buton:

On the next screen click on the step which is your sub-workflow:

In my case GL workflow is the main workflow and the AP workflow(highlighted in yellow) is the sub-workflow.

You should see the screen like this:

Now click on the "Graphic" button:

On the next pop-up(this is what Akshay was referring in his earlier post) click on current:

And voila

Hi,

Like in 4.7 version, when you are trying to see log for sub WF, is the system not giving you the pop-up for getting the log for " Highest" , "current " level etc?

If you get such pop=up and you choose current level, you will be able to see sub WF's log.

Akshay, that is correct. I do not get a pop-up. It takes me directly to the highest level.
