How do I implement Project Systems in BW?

I need to implement project systems in BW.  I have the business content infocubes installed (0ps_c10,0ps_c20), but I also need the transformations and infosources.  The relevent tables on ECC are proj, prps, jest, jcds, and rpco.  Should I write something custom, or can I use business content.  I would vastly prefer business content - help!

Hi Snehal,

SAP delivery a new versions of the Business content, here you can find the cubes and the correct estándar infoobjets that you need.

Hi Snehal,

The cubes you are referring here do not have the whole flow in BI Content delivered by SAP. So you have to design the flow on your own. However the datasources are available.

1. Install the datasources in your source system 0PS_10 and 0PS_20

2. Replicate them to BW

3. Then create a custom flow to connect these data sources to the cube. You can use DSO for staging if you want.

Hi Sneha,

While installing from business content cubes 0ps_c10,0ps_c20, in grouping if you select in data flow before, you will get all data flow(like data source, info pak and transformations). as said by ranga, search in business content install rest of things as data flow needs.

Hi Snehal,

You don't have to create anything custom if your reporting requirement is met by loading the two cubes that you installed. Please look in the BI Content for the objects (Transformations, DS, etc) that load the two cubes. Everything is provided by SAP.
