Hi Abu Sarah..
I see that the node name "Accessories" is in lower case, kindly go to the info object and check on the general tab if the Lower Case checkbox is checked, if not then am afraid you'll have to use Upper case letters or change the infoobject.
Hope this helps,
Manohar.

Hi Abu Sarah,
Sorry but ZCATEGORY I belive holds only node Ids. Right ? What you are trying to load is a NODE NAME. If you go to SE12 and key in RSCHAVL, against DOMAIN, with the radio button checked and display, then you'd find a Definition tab, does this tab also has lower case checkbox checked ?
This is generally SAP provided domain and should allow lower case data. Please check this and confirm.
Regards,
Manohar. D
Hi Abu,
While maintaining hierarchy, first you need to insert text node, next under that you can insert Char info objects.
You can refer your link.

Thanks
Ok.. That is strange, coz RSCHAVL is generally the Domain, which is used by the data elements that define the field NODENAME. In anycase as this is a cuztomer generated object which we are speaking of please follow the below steps to be doubly sure:
1. Display the info object ZCATEGORY.
2. Click on tab "Hierarchy".
3. Find the Hierarchy table name, in this case it should be /BIC/HZCATEGORY.
4. Double click on the table and it will display technical information related to all the fields the table has.
5. Do you find the DATA ELEMENT against the field NODENAME ? If the data element is RSSHNODENAME then even I'm not sure why you are not able to load lower case values here, and if you are loading from a flat file then it would be better to have NODENAMEs in Uppercase. This is because the data element RSSHNODENAME is created on top of domain RSCHAVL.
6. If you find a different data element, then double click on the data element.
7. In the next screen offered double click on the DOMAIN value, in the data type tab.
8. Here check again if you have Lower case checked, if not then we might have to get this checked after consulting with an ABAPer, coz changing domains have massive impact on the objects in the system, and is never to be done without determining the where-used list.
Hi Abu,
Please check these points.
1. Have you maintained objects in external char(product and category)
2. if yes, remove above nodes, save, crate new one, insert text node(folder), right click on folder, insert char object, enter required char object name.
ZCATAGEORY object description is Accessories?
same decrption two times not allowed. if possible change the folder name.
Thanks
Is this a flat file load Abu..? If yes then it would be better to have upper case letters only for the node names. And I'm sorry I'm not able to find any reason why a lower case name shouldn't be allowed, and when I compared few hierarchies of my own project, I see all of them to be in Upper case..
Just check the possibility of having Upper Case letters in the flat file, and that should fix the issue.
Hi Abu and Raman,
I'm sorry but I beg to differ from the way of analysis. I strongly believe this has nothing to do with the data in the individual info objects. Hierarchy is just a structure meant for structural display of data in the report, so it will never access / check the data in individual nodes / info object attribute data tables. I'm not sure why lower case node names aren't allowed and I've never created a hierarchy from maintain hierarchies screen. I've always loaded them. So Abu if you had entered the node names then kindly rename them in upper case, just the way the folders in your screenshots are named as ACCESSORIES and PRODUCT. Only this seems to fix the issue.
And Abut it is but natural for all attribute data table to hold one record with all null values. So if this is the null value you are speaking of then there is nothing you can do to delete this row.
Manohar
Hi Manu,
Accept with you. actually we checked all possiblity ways at hier str level. so that's y i turned to data level. even info object name not making any sense with descprtion. ZCATEGORY - Accesorries?
Hi Abu,
Try above suggestion also as make them as upper case - ACCESSORIES(Node name).
Thanks
