Hi,
We are currently running Solution Manager 7.2 SP 19 and using ITSM to manage cases. To enhance our document management capabilities, we plan to install a SAP Content Server to store all documents attached to ITSM cases. As part of this, we’re estimating the sizing for the AWS instance that will host the Content Server.
Our database currently has a size of 600 GB. We are considering two instance options:
t4g.2xlarge – 8 CPUs, 32 GB RAM, and 1 TB of storage, ideal for a balanced usage for CPU and Memory.
r5.2xlarge – 8 CPUs, 64 GB RAM, also 1 TB of storage, optimized for memory workloads.
What should we be focusing on when estimating the sizing of the instance? Also, do you have any recommendations for disk partitioning, or is there some kind of guide that could help us on this matter?
Thanks,
