Hi all,
On my account on hana.ondemand.com (not trial version) I am missing the option the create a schema for developing HANA XS Applications.
In this thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/3876748 Oliver Goetz wrote, that additional licenses / resources are needed http://scn.sap.com/thread/3876748.
What exactly do I need for my account to be able to develop HANA XS Applications?
Maybe the dedicated HANA instance of the list below?
Kind regards
Oliver

Hi Oliver,
Indeed, you need a dedicated HANA instance in prod environments (or the MDC option on the trial landscape) to be able to develop HANA XS apps. The HANA (<shared>) option provides HANA as a database only - to be used e.g. as persistence option for Java apps.
Once you've got that, you would use dedicated HANA tools to create users, resp. schemas, and develop apps. Check out the following resources for more details on the concrete procedures:
SAP HANA Cloud Platform --> "Create an SAP HANA Database User" section
Hope that helps!
