HANA Studio Installation Error

Hi Experts,

a colleague and me have recently been trying to install the HANA Studio and Client. Unfortunatly we received an error message which says it wasn't possible to install Microsoft C/C++ Runtime and the installation stops.

I found a thread about a similar problem while searching the forum but I haven't been able to transfer the solution to our problem. Still I have linked it here:

In case someone has a similar problem:

I solved the it through installing 'Visual C++ Redistributable Combo Package'.

Please make sure that you have local admin access in the operating system for your logon account to install software and also are installing the correct version 64-bit / 32-bit appropriate to your version of OS.

Hello,

As per screenshot, it is trying to execute vcredist_x64.exe but it is getting Access denied error. Could you please try to install with user having administrator rights?
