Hana Cloud data refresh

Hello,

We do have an Hana Cloud DB on BTP and I would like to refresh test instance with production one.

Do you know how to deal with this?

Hello Fabian,

SAP HANA Cloud does not support copying the complete HANA database using backup & restore, yet.

If you use HDI container, you can export an HDI container to a cloud storage from your production instance and and import it again to your test instance. This worked well for us with an HDI container of about 25GB. Not sure how it works if the HDI container is much bigger.
If you are fine with copying specific tables only, you can utilize SDA to copy these tables from production to the test instance.
