Has anyone found a Git Flow which works for SAP Development.
I am making the transition from Classic HANA development into WebIDE, XSA.
The git flows that I have found seem to over simplify multiple individual developers working on different development units with different timeframes.
Each flow that I have seen seems to have the whole team working on the same release cycle so everyone is ready to promote at the same time from a Dev Branch to main-Production.
What is the best method to bridge the gap with classic in which each developer had his own delivery unit tied to a transport, and that developer could move his/her changes independently of other developers development timeline.
Is it workable to create a feature branch off main-Production for each developer, then merge the feature branch into Dev for testing and later merge the feature branch into main Production?
