Getting an error after downloading abapGit in Eclipse

I downloaded abapGit using this link here: https://eclipse.abapgit.org/updatesite/

Everything was working normally and when it was installed, Eclipse prompted me to restart the application, I did so but then...

This error started appearing, I tried restarting my laptop but it still wasn't working. I would add the logs here but it's like 9 files each with 4K something lines and I don't know what there is actually useful. Anybody else had this error before? And do you know how to solve it?

Hello @sebastian-nunez

This is typically an Eclipse plugin compatibility issue after installing abapGit.

Check the Eclipse log file mentioned in the popup (workspace/.metadata/.log or the generated .log file) for the actual error.

Verify

Eclipse version is supported by abapGit.
ADT and abapGit plugin versions are compatible.
Java/JDK version meets Eclipse requirements.

Try

Start Eclipse with -clean.
Remove the abapGit plugin from the dropins/plugins folder (if manually installed).
Reinstall the latest abapGit plugin from the update site.
Update Eclipse and ADT to the latest supported versions.

If Eclipse still does not start, share the first "Caused by" error from the log file, as that usually identifies the root cause.

Thanks,
Sravan
