Free Table Security with Advantage database Server

HI

I have a application using ADS connected to free tables.

Am i correct in assuming that there is no way to secure these files from ADS Server / Architect?

eg: If a rogue ODBC connection was created to ADS data source or if connected to through the Data Architect these connections would allow full data access to the free tables?

One option would be to encrypt a free table. See: http://devzone.advantagedatabase.com/dz/webhelp/Advantage12/index.html?master_encryption.htm and look for the stored procedure sp_EncryptTable
