We are in the process of migrating a customer from a UNIX platform and 46C to a Windows one and then upgrading to ERP 6.0. The old printing method that they have in place for bulk printing is to output an ASCII file to a UNIX mount and then use a pearl script to convert the file to Windows/DOS ASCII and FTP it to the Windows Formscape server. Once we are migrated to Windows shouldn't we just be able to set up printing directly to the Formscape server in SPAD using a host name and queue name? Has anyone setup printing to Formscape?
Request clarification before answering.
Can someone tell me how to print to file on a windows shared folder using printers setup in SPAD?
