Format in a workbook

Hello Friends ,

After formatting the workbook with my query result , I also want to include "Report Run date " and "Last run date" in my work book , what formula can I use to populate the respective cell in my wokrbook ? say I refresh the wokrbook today the date should be today's date , any inputs greatlt appreciated .

Hi,

You want to add in the text elements to get those values. They are located on the BEx toolbar under the "layout" icon.

There are quite a few, so add them all and then delete off the ones you don't want.

Thanks for the input , as said I added "Last Rin date " and "Data as of " on Top right of my workbook ,when I refreshed the workbok , I should have today's date next 2 these 2 fields. As you have suggested I went to the Bex icon in the tool bar and then to the layout icon but couldn't get to that point , can you please give me the steps in detail ?

Hi,

Open BEX>Select your Query>select layout icon>select general>it wil show you all the detials like: author,last refreshed etc...
