Fiori Migration Tool does not work

I'm trying to import a Sap WebIDE project to the Business Application Studio - but I just get this screen:

Hello Andreas,

From the screenshot it looks like the backend you are trying to deploy to is not reachable. Can you please confirm if it is available, and also that the backend service /sap/opu/odata/UI5/ABAP_REPOSITORY_SRV is active.

Hello Ian!

Thanks for your response. It looks like the request reaches the system, the mentioned service is also active. But somehow it always crashes with an server error. And we're not able to find any hint/log what so ever.

Please add the "SAP Fiori tools" tag to this question.

Have you followed Pre-Requisites mentioned in the documentation as well as the key points, specifically:

• A project must have package.json or pom.xml to be selected for migration.
• A project must have the main data source specified in the manifest.json file.

Thanks for this hint. Next question - do you know what the problem here is? Or where I can find a log for this?
