FIORI Elements Object Pages Amount

Dear Experts,

how many object pages are actually possible within Business Application Studio - Fiori Elements based (annotated) app? I guess, that at maximum three object pages are possible - since I tried so many things out but a forth page was simply not possible...I used the "Show Page Map" - Editor. After selection of a 1:n navigation entity (Association), I was able only to navigate to the third object page from a table and the third one was not possible although the item was clickable on the third page....I think that´s a bad restriction...

Good question. The flexible column layout template exists out of 3 parts so it makes sense that 3 is the max. But I think it might be possible to load a new object page in one of the pages by using a controller extension.

Hi Wouter,

thanks for your comment. Indeed, I tried out a custom view navigation from the third column. Result: No effect but the table item was clickable. It worked only to navigate from the first second column page. Thus, I was forced to take put the table from which I intended to navigate to the second column page, too. This is bad restriction since the usability might sink....
