Find segments path for mapping

Hey,

I've customer specifications for EDI mapping.

I'm looking for instructions how to create excel file that maps the segments, like this one:

I'm more interested in understanding the logic or where to find the path for each segment such as:

/ORDERS05/IDOC/E1EDK03/DATUM for DTM segment ...... or this:

/ORDERS05/IDOC/E1EDP01/E1EDP19[2]/QUALF for PIA qualifier.

You'd have to ask what tool they use, which may also be some proprietary tool. Frankly, these documents are archaic and should be avoided IMO.

If I understand correctly u are asking about the mapping logics description which is between source and target u can find that in ESR message Mapping and if u need description of each field u can check the Description tab in MM.

And to answer this I believe u are asking about the paths of the segment or filed which u will get after clicking on the specific segment or filed and then click on Copy Path and paste it on notepad u will get.
