Filter empty xml payload and send reply back to sender

Hi All

We have an iflow ,C4C -> ODATA->BPA . We are receiving json payload from C4C then we enrich the payload using ODATA .The ODATA has multiple line items hence we are using splitter to split the payload inside local interation process.

The current requirement is to initimate the sender(C4C) if any xml field is empty saying "The necessary fields are missing" and end the iflow ,else send the payload to BPA.

Initially thought of filtering after the splitter not sure what kind of xpath condition to add.

Please pour your suggestions on this .
