Exporting to excel

Good day All,

Does anyone know or hear of a way to export to excel in a specific format. Let me try to be more detailed.

I have two reports that has to be exported to excel in a specific format.

Company name has to be in cell A1.

Company Address has to be in cell A2.

All Column headers have to be in row 6 begining at b - z depending on how many Column.

All details have to be under their corresponding header.

Is there a plug-in for this?

Hi David,

For the report to export in the format you require you have to format the crystal reports manually by selecting

File > Options > Layout > Select the Rulers,Grids for both design view and preview.

And based on the rulers which you can see after selecting the above options you should plave the fields where ever you require.

And while exporting to excel select * Excel Microsoft Data Only* and select the below mention options.

Export object formatting

Maintain Column Alignment

Maintain Relative Object Position
