Hallo,
my company deploys a very dump combination of SAP NetWeaver 740, DMS WebUI and easyDMS. I saying dumb because SAP potential of automation and workflow management is rarely used.
I would like to automate the process the process of transferring data of the Document Info Record into a office document. Is there any SAP dummy guidelines, explaining how I can do this. I would like to keep easy and simple even have to use some simple text file as data buffer.
thx Stefan

Hi Stefan,
regarding your question there is general the function of Office Integration in DMS available to transfer data from the SAP system to an office file. For further information please see the online documentation at https://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_06/helpdata/en/6b/3e0d386fa18310e10000009b38f8cf/frameset.htm and please use only the FORM_INF technique.
For EasyDMS please read the information in note 2306579 because this is designed slightly different and needs to be "activated" with a specific registry key. In addition please ensure that corrections of notes
are also implemented to avoid the documented issues.
Best regards,
Christoph

thank you, I've just done it.
The Note is quite general. I remember an wiki post in the old style wiki. You were redirected to it by an link in the easyDMS documentation where it was mentioned, that isn't possible to search for multiple documents. That post explained very well how you can create a add-on, doing this.
You have an clue where I can find it?
By the way, do you mind to answer that in one of my question below, that would be the appropriated place.
Thank you very much.
Stefan
