*I want to connect this Excel file to connect to MS PowerBI.

But PowerBI can not read the data if the excel file does not contain a table...

Hello Hayden,

Is it possible for you make use of Live Office. If you have that you can connect that Excel to your BO and get data without exporting and connect that Excel using MS Power BI.

Let me know if this works out for you.

Hi Niraj

Thank you so much always for your help...you help me a lot!

OK I have Live Office but in order to get the latest instance, do I need to open Excel?

I want to automate the process...

Yes you would need to open Excel if you have Live Office Installed then you will see a Menu Option as Live Office. Select that menu option and you can see different options through which you can connect to Business Objects.

I wish I could use Web Services in PowerBI.

I do not think it is available at this time.
