Hello Nilesh,

SAP Portal is not yet tested on Internet Explorer 8. You should switch to IE6 /IE7. This should help.

For more info, log on to Service Marketplace.

Hi Nilesh,

If you want to run web dynpro application in IE8,you can do so as an end user.

After opening the page in IE8,Just click the 'compatibility view' icon next to the address bar.And the page loads and shows web dynro without any issue.

Hope this helps,

Hi Nilesh

If you are using IE 7.0 Web Dynpros are not supported until EP 7.0 SP10. I think NW04 compatible is SP19 but I am not sure about that. Event though If you down graded to IE 6.0 ; It may not work. Not only Portal/Web Dynpro you are going to run in to lot of issues. Only options are upgraded to Web Dynpro compatible Portal Support Pack or use it from the computer installed IE 6.0.
