Hi Lata,

Please add one parameter CTC = 1 in your QA system. Do it from your transport domain controller system and 000 client.

STMS--> overview (menu) > systems> double click on QA system --> go to 3rd tab - transport tool --> add CTC = 1 .

Save it and distribute the new settings.

Thanks,

Hi Subrata,

CTC value has been already set to 1.

Hi,

Goto STMS --> do update configuration and Distribute and activate configuration.

Then try to relase the transport request.

Thanks

Can you please perform the test as below.

stms --> import overview --> Import queue --> check --> transport tool. Make sure all queue has green tick.

Are you using CTS or any other transport management tool?... Are the transports assigned to any projects?...

hi,

We are getting the same message for ChaRM also. So we have tested the transport path by creating dummy TR directly in the ecc system. The error is same. not much information available for the error. NO VALID TM TARGET FOUND.

Here it come ..

If you have configured charm transport route should be client specific so you need to assign target as

QAS.100 (If client number is 100 , change if any other)

Hi Gagan,

TR is pointing to correct client only. An one more thing we have configured the transport routes by creating three clients in one ECC system. 300 is our development client. The TR is pointing to PSS.400 which is our quality client.

Hi,

is it possible for you to import request manualy on OS level. once request created, it will split up in two files, one is R & second is K, import that files manualy in usr/sap/trans/data and usr/sap/trans/cofiles directories respectively and tp import request no. client no. or you can login to the target system client 000 by using stms ->import queue--> clieck on request and import it.

The error actualy you have given is related to your target system, the request is not able to find out or got the target system.

Hi,

I guess this mess is created due to incorrect STMS config that yoy might have done for CharM. I suggest you if you are not going to use CharM recreate all transport routes .

If still you want to use ChaRM and routes you may need to look blogs referring to ChaRM config.Additionally just check if corresponding client roles has been maintained.

Hi,

In TMS you need to maintain system landscape and same need to give in transport request target (Suppose QAS) , check in SE10 and then with that transport request that target is maintained correctly .

Hi Gagan,

Same Target has been assigned to TR in SE01

Additionally You can Check

1) Transport routes are not Client specific

2) TMS configuration is consistent and domain controller system is up and running

3) Create new transport of copies from existing requests and then try to release , make sure target is maintained.
