Error when assigning SID: Action VAL_SID_CONVERT InfoObject 0FISCPER

While activating the DSO the above error occuring, can u plz throw light on this error and to fix it

the following error is because of fiscal year variant..

copy all the fiscal year variant from ECC using OB29 tcode.

open the BI system paste all the fiscal year variant in OB29.

then in RSA1 --> Source systems --> right click of the ECC source system-->Transfer Global Settings-- > check the fiscal year variant and update tables--> execute it.

again load the data to DSO and activate.. will be successful....enjoy SAP

Hi

Please check with following points.

1. Check with DSO activation log and see if anything mention about data i.e. some times we may found different format of data so if that is the case and change the same in PSA and relaod and activate.

2. Also check transformations weather mapped with correct source or not ans also map fiscal varient since it is an compounding object.

Hi Kumar,

One reason could be what Venkatesh pointed out. But I am skeptical that it would happen for 0FISCPER.

Anyway, change the following setting for the DSO and see..

DataStore Objects In DataStore object maintenance, if you set the SIDs Generation upon Activation indicator, the following applies:

• If you set this indicator, the system terminates activation if master data is missing and produces an error message.
• If you do not set this indicator, the system generates any missing SID values during activation.

Hi Kumar,

Go and check the DSO activation job joblog and you will get the fiscal period for which system is unable to get the SID.

now check the SID table of fiscper and make sure you have SID for the mentioned value in error.

Thanks for the info,  i checked fiscal variant is not maintained for particular master data,

waiting for the same to be maintained
