Error determining GUID

Hello all,

I am unable to do anything in SAP at the moment as I am getting Error determining GUID message. I have no idea what this means. I have been searching on the internet for an explanation and came across a thread relating to this on this website in 2007. However, I could not see a response. Hence I have joined in the search for an explanation from all you experts!

Please help me!!!

Hello,

This is because your user ID does not have a valid Business Partner / Person assignment in the Org Unit set up. Please contact your respective SRM consultant / admin person who will be able to create a BP / Central Person in PP01 after which you'll be able to use the system / run the transactions.
