Enable search through child entity attribute

Dear Experts,

I am building RAP based fiori app, wherein I have a parent, child and grand-child entity.

We have enabled fuzzy search through parent entity attributes. Now, we have a requirement, to extend this search through child and grand child attributes as well. Could you please suggest how can this be achieved.

I had the same inquiry, and it looks like there is no straightforward way to search the child entities.

The idea is to concatenate all fields from the child entities into a separate view and create an association to it in the root entity .”

I was, however, looking for searching an associated field and not filtering based on associated field.
