Enable scripting for SAP system for UFT does not work

Hello,

I have an issue with SAP enabling scripting option on one of our systems.

SAP version is 7400.2.7.1112

For scripting, we are using UFT with SAP add-on installed and enabled for the test. For enabling we followed the procedure explained here - https://admhelp.microfocus.com/uft/en/14.50-14.53/UFT_Help/Content/Addins_Guide/Enable_Script_on_Ser...

SAP enabled on client-side:

SAP enabled on the server-side:

• sapgui/nwbc_scripting: mandatory/default value: FALSE, Dynamic: Yes
• sapgui/user_scripting: mandatory/default value: True, Dynamic: Yes
• sapgui/user_scripting_disable_recording: mandatory/default value: FALSE, Dynamic: Yes
• sapgui/user_scripting_force_notification: mandatory/default value: FALSE, Dynamic: Yes
• sapgui/user_scripting_set_readonly: mandatory/default value: FALSE, Dynamic: Yes

Even with all of this setup, we are getting the error message that scripting needs to be enabled.

Popup with title "Micro Focus Unified Functional Testing" and text "The Scripting API option is not enabled for this server. To record and run tests with Unified Functional Testing, you must enable this option. For more information, click Help."

The help button leads to the link that is set at the beginning of the post.

Do you have maybe any idea what we can try in addition?

Did you check the profile parameter sapgui/user_scripting_per_user?

Did you make sure that the profile parameters are set identically on all SAP application servers? (if you have more than one AS)
