Enable Now Producer Functionalities

Hi together,

we are facing some questions of our customer and didn't find answers in any documentation.

• Are there standard templates available in the producer or does the customer needs to create custom templates for E-Learnings?
• Is there any example scorm content generated with the producer to show to the customer and test the integration with their LMS?
• Are there functions like interacting persons who can be inserted in the book pages?

Hello Romina, most of your questions are answered in the SAP Enable Now Info Center website at https://enable-now.sap.com . It's free to sign up with your email or SAP ID. 

• Are there standard templates available in the producer or does the customer needs to create custom templates for E-Learnings? - There are a few standard Book Styles with clickable buttons available in the Resources of your workarea. You can also build your own Book Style. You can designate any Book Page (slide) as a Book Page Template in its Properties, and control the appearance of your Book Pages with the Book Page Template. You can download more Book Styles and Book Page Templates from the SAP Enable Now Info Center. Most of my customers build their own. 
• Is there any example scorm content generated with the producer to show to the customer and test the integration with their LMS? - No, you need to build a Book (a single Sharable Content Object/SCO), with a couple of Book Pages, a Simulation with all the playback modes you intend to use, and maybe a Quiz. Then publish it as whatever flavor of SCORM you need, and test it in your LMS. The results are highly variable depending on your content, your SCORM version, and your LMS. You can also go to SCORM.com (run by Rustici Software), and download a sample SCORM package for testing. You can also test your own SCORM packages there and get automated feedback on what's wrong with your package. 
• Are there functions like interacting persons who can be inserted in the book pages? - if you mean Avatars, yes, the Comic Man and Comic Woman (editable avatars) are in your Resources. You can download others, like Dotty, or a series of non-editable avatars, from the SAP Enable Now Info Center website. Most of my customers don't use avatars.

You can purchase SAP Enable Now implementation assistance through SAP or its SEN-certified partners. Contact your SAP salesperson for information. The SEN implementation consultant will help you set up your SEN, configure it for what you want to do, and guide you in the proper use and care of SEN.

Bart has pretty much covered everything but just to extend his answer on Avatars, you can download the Comic Man and Comic Woman and also Scenes, which include other Avatars, from the Content and Templates section of Info Center.
