Dynamic details display based on Filter selection

Hello All..Greetings,

I have a requirement to display Top 10 lines in a dashboard as details for a chart which displays data based on the values selected in filters.

The challenge is to dynamically get the top10 lines to display for the each selection in the filters.. and I have 3x filters in dashboard and the total combinations for these filters is 84 and creating top 10 details in webi's for each combination and importing them using LO into xcelsius for display is not really a pragmatic approch which I think.

My experince with xcelsius is at beginner level, Appreciate your help if you can suggest any better approches to handle this kind of requirement. I am using Webi>Lo>Xcelsius (BO 4.0) with SAP BI as source.

This is fairly easy.

First, you need a block in Webi that has all the dimensions you wish to filter by and display, and the measure(s) you want for your charts. Create a top 5 rank on the block. Create a BI Service on this block.

In the Xcelsius dashboard, pass the filters through the BI Service and you will get the top five results returned.

Check the excel file in attachment. I made dynamic sorting based on values. Check how I used excel formulas. After you download the file change its extension to XLS.
