Hi Friends,
There is requirement to put a Dynamic Content in the task description. I had searched a lot to find an answer, but was unfortunate.
I know how to put a field in the Workitem Text to make it dynamic. What I need is to place a dynamic text to the task description?
Whether this is possible to place a dynamic text in the task description? Please help.
Thanks and Regards,
Abijith
Request clarification before answering.
Hi,
just use a container element with the text.
For user decisions you can use 4 paramters.
In every other task in standard task change screen, for workitem text there is an option to insert variables.

Hi Rob,
I am not discussing about the Workitem Text. My question is about the task description that comes in the second tab of the task when you open it in PFTC. Please have look at the following screen shot. Here I had maintained a text 'REQUEST APPROVED', which is static. What I need is make this content dynamic,ie. the content will be generated from within the workflow itself.
Hope you got a better understanding of the problem.
Thanks & Regards,
Abijith
Hi Abijith,
That's possible in Workflow. In the content of a task you can use container elements, some sap script code and sap script elements.
So just create a task to retrieve the text, place it in a multiline element container and add it to your workitem text.
In workitemtext creation, click on expression (CTRL+F5) and choose your element to be included in the text.
Kind regards,
