DTP Filter criterias - Missing InfoObjects

Hello together,

i have a DTP which extracts data out of an InfoCube using an InfoSource.

Now, I only want to select data with a special year. In the DTPs filter selection, there are not all InfoObjects from the source object, also this customer InfoObject Year is missing within the filter of the DTP, but it is available in the source cube and also in the InfoSource and the corresponding transformations.

Does anybody know, what to do, to have these InfoObjects available in the filter of the DTP, too?

Please check wether Infoobject is marked as "attribute only" or not.

Hi Dj,

Can you please check source in extraction tab of your DTP

Please check special year is present in your source which is present in DTP.

I think that is not present thats why it is not showing in filter.

Hello Ganesh,

ok, you are right. It is not in the source InfoCube, but it will be filled via an Expert Routine in the Transformation to the InfoSource. In the InfoSource, this field is there, and will be moved 1:1 via an additional Transformation into a second InfoCube. I thougt, you can select all field, which are available now in the structure of the InfoSource, but it seems that this will not work, so nevertheless, only the fields from the Source Cube are available for selection.

Hi Daniel,

When the list of Chars from source are more than some defined numbers,we get a drop down to choose few objects. At the time of DTP creation,if the person has not choosen the Object Year ,then it will not appear at all thugh it is there in Source and target.

We will have to create another DTP and see to it that we choose the Object 0Year...to test that yuo can create one more DTP and choose the object.

have checked this. I will not get any drop down. There are always the same InfoObjects available, and also in the list of selectable Objects.

Have you checked in change filter.All fiels are available there you need to select from left side to right.

Hi Jahn,

I think required info object may be available.

so please rechechek it.

Go to your DTP, change mode-->Extraction tab--> Filter--> change selection.here you can see right and left side. you can move objects(from right to left pane) which you need keep at filter area.
