Draft Handling and Locking

Hello Experts,

We have upgraded our ECC server from Fiori 1.0 to Fiori 2.0.We have developed application where we have to implement locking of screen.

Meaning if user A is editing the screen, it should not allow user B to edit it and vice versa.We have looked at etags but does not help, we want to lock the screen on UI.

Please suggest if there is any standard feature in Fiori 2.0 to handle this and how it can be achieved technically.

Hi Manish,

Draft handling is a part of ABAP CDS/BOPF. You need NW751 SP02 in the backend.

We are on NW740 with HANA backend.

What are the other options to implement locking with Fiori 2.0 with our setup?
