Does SAP ECC6 has an REST API connection

We use SAP version ECC6.

To interface PO & stock data from another ERP in to SAP we want to use REST API.

Since SAP ECC6 is a relative old version of SAP, we wonder if it is outfitted with a REST API connection?

I.e. can SAP ECC6 receive data via REST API?

Hi Joppe,
you can create an ODATA service and consume this service via REST. But normally you connect 2 SAP systems via ALE and IDOC. What is the purpose of your connection?
