Does ARIBA CIG support certificate based authentication?

Hi All,

We have scenario from ARIBA CIG to CPI where CIG is connecting to our CPI tenant using certificate based authentication but one of our integration architect said that this certificate based authentication option in CIG only does ssl handshake but actually is not supported for authentication purpose and he also had faced this kind of issue long back in previous project.

Currently when CIG is trying to connect to our CPI tenant using our CPI certificate they are getting below error.

So please let us know if CIG really supports this cert based authentication option and if yes what could be reason for below error then.

Note:- CIG has imported our CPI certificate on their side while trying to connect us and we also imported their certificates in certificate-user-mapping in our CPI tenant. User which has mapped with CIG certificate in CPI has ESBMessaging.send role already assigned.
