Hi SAP,
We are requesting your support to clarify the steps for integrating our BODS 4.3 development environment application, identified as DKS, into the FOCUSED RUN monitoring system.
We are requesting your support to confirm the correctness of each of the activities we will perform in the BODS 4.3 development environment, specifically on the server (IP_ADDRESS), where the application resides on Windows Server DIGITS Standard. We require your confirmation that the indicated action is correct; otherwise, please inform us what modifications or changes are necessary for its proper implementation.
Prerequisites
The sapadm administration account must be part of the administrators group on the Windows server.
At the operating system level, add the IPs and hostname of the server where SAP FOCUSED RUN resides to the /etc/hosts file.
This information was provided by the FOCUSED RUN administrator.

SAP HOST AGENT
According to note DIGITS - SAP Host Agent Outside Discovery ComputerSystem configuration, the SAP Host Agent version should be SAP Host Agent 7.22 PL 69 introduces the required-local parameter and DIGITS - SAP Host Agent 7.22 PL69.
This is the same version that is installed on this server.

Would these be the necessary prerequisites to be able to integrate with SAP FOCUSED RUN?
According to note DIGITS - AC Tool release NOTE for supported products such as Data Services 4.X, BOE 4.X, BOE embedded Tomcat (Web Tier), Tomcat7, Tomcat8, it is suggested to use the AC Tool (AutoConfigure Tool) for preparing the managed system configuration of different products.
Download and unzip actool_mini.zip attached and follow the instructions in file readme.txt
Before running the run_actool.bat script, should the instructions in point 2 be followed for our SAP Data Services 4.3 application?
2. maintain products.xml and boe.properties and/or ds.properties
BOE:
maintain boe.properties for all empty varaibles and adapt UNIX type folders
DS or IS:
copy conf/products_miniboe.xml to conf/products.xml
maintain ds.properties for all varaibles <***>.
This part does not apply because it is a Windows operating system.
For UNIX only:
maintain boe.properties 2 varaibles (note the 2 space around '=' is required)
boe.home = <***>
jvmmond.install.path = <***>
This section must be completed for our application.
BOE Tomcat:
copy conf/products_tomcat.xml to conf/products.xml
copy boe_tomcat_mini.propertie to boe.properties
maintain boe.properties for all varaibles <***> and adapt folder for UNIX/Windows.
To execute the following instruction, where can we obtain the TomcatSLDDataSupplierWEB.war file and isagent-zip-rtv-108.0.0.zip, which are not in the actool_mini folder?
copy TomcatSLDDataSupplierWEB.war and isagent-zip-rtv-108.0.0.zip to folder downloads/.
If 108.0.0 is not the latest version, you need to adapt boe.properties wily.agent.version
See download/readme.txt on where to find above file.
download/readme.txt
For BOE Tomcat SolMan setup, copy here:
Introscope IS (isagent-zip-rtv-108.0.0.zip) from SMP
TomcatSLDDataSupplierWEB (sap.com~TomcatSLDDataSupplierWEB.war) from SAP note DIGITS
According to note DIGITS, the file TomcatSLDDataSupplier_260624.zip was downloaded and its contents are:

According to the Apache_Tomcat_SLD-DS_Overview.pdf document attached to note DIGITS, the SAP metadata XML file should be located in the TomcatSLDDataSupplier_260624 folder, but as we have observed before, only the .war file sap.com~TomcatSLDDataSupplier.war exists.
By checking the actual_mini\actool_mini\conf\ppms folder, we can find the file SAP_metadata.xml.
Is this the file referred to in the Apache_Tomcat_SLD-DS_Overview.pdf document?

In the document Apache_Tomcat_SLD-DS_20250601.pdf, section 3.1, Install SLDREG – executable,
What would be the criteria for creating the .CFG and .KEY files?
To configure SLDREG create appropriate .CFG and .KEY files to be used to establish a connection to
the SLD. The path to the SLDREG executable and to the .CFG files have to be specified in the SLD –DS
configuration properties file like follows.
By the way, Are SLDREG_PATH and SLDREG_CONFIG_FILE_PATH environment variables that must be created at the operating system level?
SLDREG_PATH=/usr/sap/hostcontrol/exe/sldreg
SLDREG_CONFIG_FILE_PATH= /tmp/sld.cfg
In point 3.3.1 Configuration of the SLD-DS, what parameters should we include in the sldDataSupplier.properties.template or sldDataSupplier.properties file? Initially, it would be those that appear by default.
What would be the criteria for defining the parameters for BODS 4.3?
In the file actol_mini\readme.txt in point 3.
C:\Users\jdominguez25\Downloads\actool_mini\actool_mini>
3. run ACTool by
Windows: run_actool.bat
Y en ACTool User Guide-2.pdf en punto 5.8
5.8 Run ACTool with Interactive User Input
For all steps, you need to run ACTool as root user or sudo on UNIX, or as the administrator role in Windows.
Windows run_actool.bat.
The next step is to run run_actool.bat, but upon reviewing the script, we find some instructions (in black) related to configuring and restarting Data Services. This raises the question: Did the application configuration change, requiring a restart?
Is confirmation required to determine if the configuration changed and a restart is necessary to request permission from the client or application owner?

We need your support to address these questions or concerns so we can make the necessary changes to integrate this development environment into FOCUSED RUN's monitoring system.
If you believe we should change the order of the steps or activities to be performed, please also confirm, as we need to integrate the quality assurance and production environments into FOCUSED RUN's monitoring system.
Best regards.
