Hi
As the title suggests, I don't understand the difference between SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and SAP Cloud Integration (CI).
Does anyone know if SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and SAP Cloud Integration (CI) are the same functionality?
If it is the same, please let me know when the name was changed.
Best regards.

Hi Yuya
Yes, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (often abbreviated to CPI) is the same product as SAP Cloud Integration; only the name has changed. In 2021, SAP Cloud Platform was rebranded as SAP Business Technology Platform and therefore the SAP Cloud Platform Integration name no longer made sense.

Morten

SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and SAP Cloud Integration (CI) are often used like they are the same thing, but they have subtle differences. CPI is a comprehensive integration service within the SAP Cloud Platform that focuses on connecting various cloud and on-premise applications. It offers pre-built connectors, APIs, and tools for integration.
On the other hand, CI (SAP Cloud Integration) is more focused on the integration of cloud-based applications with other SAP solutions. It is the core integration service for SAP S/4HANA and other cloud platforms, providing tools for process integration and data management.
