Hi all,
Ive got a very strange situation. Ive made an enhancement on BC DataSource 0EMPLOYEE_ATTR. Two new fields (personal number and user-id manager) are populated with a function module. Replicated the DataSource, made some additions in the InfoObject 0EMPLOYEE and TransferRules, run an InfoPackage and everything works fine. The values of the new attributes are visible in BW.
Then: transport from DEV to TST, replication of the DataSource, activating TransferRules and so on. After running the (transported) InfoPackage the new attributes are NOT populated. New fields are present in PSA but completely empty. Even more strange: running RSA3 on R/3 TST side works fine. So, there seems to be a difference between RSA3 and PSA, even though everything works fine on DEV.
Anyone has an idea?
Thnx in advance,
Henk.

Problem solved !!
It seems that the user BWALEREMOTE had limited authorizations !!!
Expanding the authorizations solved the problem.

Hello,
The problem seems to be strange, the data in RSA3 and PSA should not be different.
As employee is an HR data which is very sensitive, can you please check if there are any data security / authorization checks employed on the HR data? This can only be the reason that I can think of right now. I assume there can be some customized authorization constrains...

Shreyas

Hello Henk,
As far as I understood from the case that new added infoobjects did not transported to TST. Try to transport new infoobjects personal number and user-id manager than transport the rets again.
