Difference between Data Services data Quality and DQM

Hi ,

Can any one help me what is the difference between  Data Services data quality and DQM  product.  In which case we will go with Data Services  data quality and  which case we will go with DQM .

Hi Ramana,

DS used for matching data like checking duplicate records and standardization purpose.it is a process of arranging customers information in a standardized, consistent order and validated.it will avoid the duplicates values by creating single accurate view of customers. DQM used for data governance, , address validation through real time jobs.

Data Services (DS):
Extract from different sources and integrate data with different business rules for analytical reporting and business.
Data quality(DQ):

A perception/assessment of data's fitness to serve its purpose in a given context.

Aspects of data quality include:

• Accuracy/ Completeness
• Update status
• Relevance
• Consistency across data sources
• Reliability
• Appropriate presentation
• Accessibility

Both DS and DQ there are different set of transformations.
