With build 17.0.10.5866 i have used the deployment wizard to generate an installation msi. The size for this msi varies from 60MB and 80MB, denpending on X86/X64.
Today i wanted to upgrade the installtion msi for build 17.0.11.7672 and the size is growing to 141MB. I can see, that a lot of files are growing a bit, but the file SQLACOCKPIT.TEMPLATE is growing from 50MB (build 17.0.10.5866) up to 165MB in current version. I can not find any information on this file SQLACOCKPIT.TEMPLATE. Does anybody have a clue what this file stands for? For what is it neccessary? Is it neccessary for starting a personal server?
Thanks for your help. Christian
Request clarification before answering.
The sqlacockpit.template is a template database that is used with SQL Anywhere Cockpit monitoring tool. If you are not using that tool, the file does not need to be deployed.
SAP UI5 that is used to render the GUI was updated resulting in a larger template database.
