Deployment Exception NWDS

Hi, I'm unable to deploy my web dynpro application. ->Server status shows all green in J2EE Engine view and also able to do 'ping server' in Development Configuration pool in Preferences.

It throws the following Exception.

Dec 22, 2016 8:27:16 PM /userOut/deploy (com.sap.ide.eclipse.sdm.threading.DeployThreadManager) [Thread[Deploy Thread,5,main]] ERROR:

[001]Deployment aborted

Deployment exception : Cannot determine sdm host (is empty). Please configure your engine/sdm correctly !

and also when I click on 'Run' of the application , Pop up opens and says "J2EE Engine is not configured Properly". But I configured then in Preferences and shows all green in J2EE View.

Please advise.

your nwds is too old, please download from that link.

Hi,

you need to use NWDS 740 when you intend to develop for 740.

Hi Sorry for the delayed response. My NWDS Version is 7.0.11 and Portal version 7.40. Please suggest.
