delete dimension from a model

Can we delete a dimension from a model ?

Unfortunatelly you can't delete existing dimensions from a model.

Is this limitation still in place?

It has been several times I needed to rebuild my model from scratch due to this limitation and this is consuming a loooooot of time on the projects.

Any idea when this will be fixed as according to me this is the kind of limitations that as soon as a customer sees it he will stop using SAC. "Hopefully", consultants are currently the one taking the hit in the Data modeler....

Agreed.

these are really important workflows and my understanding is that we're expecting a couple of roadmap items in this area.

i believe we'll start to support

1. the ability to remove columns if a mistake was made during creation step, then
2. the ability to edit an existing model if some renovation steps need to be done .

a little down the line we'll get undo/redo in the story/visualisations too but that's next year.

Unfortunately it's still the same.

All you can do is to vote for the following requests for now..
What's your source of data? Modelling the data in source and using live connection is quite easier.
