Hi experts,
When raising lots of events at the same time, there is a delay between the event triggering and the start of the corresponding workflow which is a problem.
I would like to reduce this delay but I don't know how.
Do you have any idea ?
Thanks,

Hi,
Event is triggered but the workitem created after few minutes right.
Delay may occur due to any one of the following condition,
1) To creating the workiterm if various condition used, that condition involved many loop statement and other complex coding. before generating the Workitem these need to get executed.
2) RFC Connection, if any threshold situation occured
3) Capacity of the Server

Hi,
Are you still facing the problem.
As Saumya suggested go to SWEQADM, go to Back ground Step tab. and may be diable to Background job. But understand whats happening to system before you take any step also see if you have authority to do this.

Hi Benoit,
You can change the settings of the event queue using t-code SWEQADM_1. This should help resolve the issue.

I think you should change the settings in Event Queue adminsitration and that will help to solve your issue.

Hi,
Check SWEQBROWSER transaction when you execute hug number of events simulations. Its a event queue browser where you can find the events in queue If we have enabled the event queue for any event linkage or because of any error reason or server load ,system put the event in a event queue.
