DDIC differences between two systems.

I need to find the DDIC differences for a system before and after its upgrade to HANA. What is the procedure to find the differences in detail?

We compared (for example) the first S/4HANA sandbox system with the ECC development system using "custom code remote compare". For example we checked VBAK, VBAP, VBEP.

But: The number of standard ddic objects is huge...

Some differences "need to be known" like acodca, prcd_elements, matdoc, matdoc_extract... as it's "replacements". Vbup is not existing any more, as well as (many) other tables. Value/Amount-fields are extended (in general).

I don't know any tool, which will give you all differences.

The most optimal way to check differences to be considered is using the custom code migration app (BTP, S/4HANA onprem Sandbox or ATC).

If both systems exist at the same time and there is a respective RFC connection between those, you can take a look at transaction SREPO (report RSSYSCOMP).

I am not so sure, why you need to know that? Custom code check (ATC or Custom Code migration app) gives you plenty of hints about what needs to be done.

Sometimes we used the old "CCAPPS" transaction (custom code remote compare) as well for "mass ddic comparison", especially when aligning custom code during an S/4HANA upgrade project. It's possible to mass-check differences between systems.

I'm not sure if I'm not able to figure out the mass ddic comparison from this list.

I need to know this because I need to figure out on how to generate a document with the differences before and after its migration.

Can you please point me towards the option for mass ddic comparison?
