Datasphere: Import objects with data included (LT) did not work properly.

Dear SAP Support,

We are experiencing an issue while transporting objects between our SAP Datasphere tenants.

Source Tenant (Production)
Target Tenant (Quality)

Our objective is to transport Local Tables including their data from the Production tenant to the Quality tenant.

The process we followed is:

1. Create an Export Job in the Production tenant including the required Local Tables.
2. Enable the "Data Included" option during the export process.
3. Execute the export and successfully generate the transport package.
4. Import the package into the Quality tenant.

The issue is that, although the "Data Included" option is selected during the export, the Local Table definitions are imported correctly but the table data is not transferred to the ta

Please notes that Not all local tables can transfer data. Please refer to the following official documentation to check if the prerequisites has been met.

  • In order to transport data in a local table:

    • Your SAP Datasphere tenant must be part of an SAP Business Data Cloud formation.

    • You must:

      • Set the Semantic Usage to one of:

        • Dimension - See Create a Dimension to Categorize Data or Create a Fiscal Time Dimension.

        • Text - See Create a Text Entity for Attribute Translation.

        • Relational Dataset

      • Turn on the Allow Data Transport switch.
