Hi,
I have a MaxDB installed on a remote server and try to add this server to my database-studio.
How do I have to define the server name?
(e.g. IP-Adress like 192.168.2.3:7210)
thanx and regards
Wolfgang

Hello Wolfgang,
In your Database Studio Ladscape you could add Server/Database & use the server IP address 192.168.2.3 in the field "Server Name", next.
If the x_server was started on "192.168.2.3" server, you will see the list of the database instances.
See the documentation in the MAXDB library: http://maxdb.sap.com/doc/7_7/default.htm -> Database Studio
Starting and Configuring Database Studio: Overview -> "Showing or Hiding Databases"
< this section pointed that you could enter the name or IP address of the database computer. >
Thank you and best regards, Natalia Khlopina
