Hi,
I got 2 clients for a source system.
One[CLIENT 100] is for Unit Testing and the other one [CLIENT
200] is for Transports and Open for Changes.
My Unit Testing CLIENT 100 is aligned with SAP BW.
As I do all the activation of Data sources on CLIENT 100
only, should I do the data sources activation on CLIENT 200 as well.
Regards
Raj

As Ranganath mentioned client 200 is what you need all changes will reflect in 100.
Cheers!

Dear Raj,
If your Open system/ connected to BW ( in RSA1 SS we can check ) is CLinet200, it means once you activated the all DS's in 200 SS, then simply you can client copy (once you start activating the DS's in RSA5 it will prompt for TR) the all DS to 100 too. use the t-code SCC1 to copy the desired obects with respective your TR.

Hi Raj,
As you said:
Client 200 is Open for Changes and Transports - here do modeling and collects in TR.
Client 100 is for Unit Testing - So here you cannot do changes only option is to Import TR which you done in 200 and do testing.

Hi Raj,
As you said client 200 is open for changes and transportable, then you need to in client 200 only not in client 100. if you did changes in Client 100 how will you capture in transport Req and how system will allow you to change.
Do the require things in client 200 and collect all in transport req and move across the landscape.
Thanks

Hi there,
You probably mean CLIENT 200 when you say activation of DS since client 200 is open and not 100. You can install DS in the client that is open, i.e. client 200 in your case. You do not have to activate DS in client 100. In fact, I don't think that the system will let you.
Thanks,
Ranga.
