Open a web browser, enter the following case-sensitive URL using the web application server as hostname and the port of the web application, and then press Enter

• http://<hostname>:<port>/DataServices

The Web Tier must be able to deploy the WAR files and the WAR files are responsible for all the front end features of your Central Management Console (CMC) and Data Services Management Console (DSMC).

Example of web application/web tier: Apache Tomcat (Bundled with IPS/BI application).

Make sure you can access the Web Tier Server from other machine and which is your port number. For Apache Tomcat Web Tier, your default port number is 8080, but it can be changed.
