Data Orchestration Engine

Hi Gurus,

My name is Malinda Wellawa and Im an ABAP developer. I am totally new to the SAP NetWeaver Mobile 7.1 and i want clarify some big questions. What i wan't to know is where do i get the Data Orchestration Engine (DOE), how do you install it in an exitsting Applitcation Server or is it possible to install it in an existing AS. Also want to know if it is a component in the AS. I don't think its there in my current AS because t-codes like SDOE_WB for Data Orchestration Engine Workbench does not work. Please give me help in this subject, I am to research and develop mobile applications for my company.

Hi Malinda,

as you mentioned, the DOE is part of SAP Netweaver Mobile 7.1. Only with this package you will be able to evaluate and use DOE. It is definitely not part of the standard AS distribution. On SDN there is the Netweaver Mobile 7.1 trial edition, but this excludes the DOE for simplicity reasons.

I think you have to contact your SAP sales contact in order to get a copy of the DOE.
