We have a sales cube (which sources all three data sources - orders, billing and delivery). We created a copy of the sales cube, without mapping the calweek into the copy cube.
The reason we removed the Calweek from the copy cube is that, it was showing inconsistency in RSRV check, since the calweek was not having proper data from the source, as per the calday.
Whether due to this or not, when we try to load data from the actual cube to copy cube, it hangs forcing us to kill the job in SM37. Experts, please advise.
Thank you and regards,
Suneer

Hi Suneer,
I think this is due to huge number of records.......
How many years of data are there in the actual cube ?
Try to split the selection..........like Year wise...........first go with this........
If then also it is getting stuck........trhen split month wise........like load data for 6 months.......
You can do the loading in parallel..........but first try 2 loads in parallel.........then 3............do some trial and error.......

Debjani......

When you say that the data load is hanging - is the job still active ..?
If the job is still active - you can find out the SQL it is trying to execute and see where it is getting stck - for this it is best to defer to your BASIS DBA who can find out the SQL query it i executing and then see what the issue could be.
Also if you have specific selections on the data load - try creating indices on these fields...

Hi,
That should not be the issue. Is it happening again and again?
